According to CoinMeta, based on on on-chain data, after the whale address 0x3418… e5d3 closed its long positions in BTC, it quickly established a short position worth over ten million US dollars. In a short period of time, it shifted its main risk exposure from BTC to ETH. Between 16:55 and 16:56 today, this address sold 72.68 units of BTC at an average price of $83,884, closing a long position valued at $6.1 million, with a gross profit of $1,397 from the closure. After deducting transaction fees, the actual loss was $676. Following the closure of this position, between 16:56 and 16:58, the same address went short on 4,000 units of ETH for a value of $10.79 million, with an average opening price of $2,698.21. It is worth noting that at 16:38, this address also closed a short position of 150 units of BTC, incurring a loss of $451,900. Subsequently, it briefly went long on BTC, but closed its position after only 14 minutes before turning back to going short on ETH. As of the time of publication, this address currently holds only a short position in ETH, with a floating loss of $167,600. The liquidation price is $2,770.56, which is only about $26 different from the current price.
