CoinMeta data: Short-term pressure drove Bitcoin prices up to $84,984, a 5.4% increase from 24 hours ago. During this period, a total of $746 million in positions were liquidated in the market, of which $648 million were short positions. Bitcoin shorts accounted for $278 million of the total $240 million liquidated in 24 hours, with Ethereum shorts amounting to $123 million. Despite the closing of short positions, the market's open interest still increased by 7.59% to reach $156 billion, and 24-hour trading volume rose by 39% to $224 billion.
