South Africa plans to include cryptocurrencies in foreign exchange regulations; $135 million in transactions is on hold

According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Bloomberg, South Africa plans to incorporate cryptocurrencies into its foreign exchange control system and restrict their use in cross-border transactions, resulting in the suspension of at least three transactions totaling 2.2 billion rand (about 135 million US dollars).
