According to CoinMeta, Ondo Stocks has announced the launch of a physical-to-token conversion feature, supporting the conversion between underlying stocks and tokenized stocks. This feature also adds a new primary market issuance channel through Alpaca's Instant Tokenization Network ( ITN ). Eligible institutions can use their existing stock assets to mint Ondo Stocks tokens or redeem tokens for the corresponding stocks, with the process completed through internal ledger transfers. This service is available to institutions that have been approved by Alpaca and possess valid accounts with Ondo and Alpaca. It has already been launched on Ethereum and BNB Chain.
