According to CoinMeta, AI, a proxy startup founded by Ema, has announced the completion of a $77 million Series B financing round led by Creaegis. Existing investors Accel, Section, and Prosus have also made additional investments. To date, the company's total financing has reached $140 million, with its valuation more than tripling since its last round of financing in 2024. Ema was founded in 2023 by former Google and Coinbase executive Surojit Chatterjee and former Okta executive Souvik Sen. The company deploys a technology called “AI Employee” that can coordinate systems of multiple AI proxies to help enterprises execute multi-step business processes within their existing applications. Most of the new funds will be used to expand market operations, as the company previously focused primarily on product development.
