2026-09-24 10:18:58
According to CoinMeta and reports from Glonhub, McDonald's CEO Chris Kempczinski stated that the situation of stable customer traffic and high inflation is expected to become the new normal for the catering industry in the long term. Kempczinski said in a CNBC program: "I have been emphasizing to my team that we should stop referring to this environment as a 'difficult situation' and instead accept it as the reality we are in. Looking ahead, we do not expect things to change." McDonald's announced that its same-store sales in the United States only increased by 0.8% in the latest quarter, and customer traffic at its stores has declined.
