According to CoinMeta, as reported by Decrypt, blockchain analytics firm Elliptic announced the launch of an artificial intelligence tool named Pulse aimed at helping ordinary police quickly understand cryptocurrencies they encounter at the scene without any need for blockchain expertise. The tool allows police to input information such as wallet addresses or transaction hashes and returns easy-to-understand financial summaries within seconds. Elliptic states that this will help frontline personnel instantly determine whether a case requires further handling. Pulse is built on the same intelligent foundation as the investigator-level platform of Elliptic and covers over 65 blockchain networks, with an emphasis on human supervision and model transparency. The company raised $120 million from investors such as NASDAQ and Deutsche Bank earlier this year.
