According to CoinMeta, Bitget CEO Gracy Chen confirmed that the funds of users are safe following a hot wallet vulnerability incident involving $351.6 million. She stated that all losses will be covered by Bitget's user protection fund, which holds over $464 million. This vulnerability only affected some of the exchange's hot wallets and warm wallets, while cold wallets "remain completely secure." Currently, deposits and transactions are still available, but withdrawals have been temporarily suspended pending a security review. She emphasized, "We will not evade this incident. Every dollar and every decision will be recorded transparently and in full detail."
