According to CoinMeta, Bitget Wallet stated on the X platform that it operates independently from the Bitget exchange and is a self-hosted wallet. Users' assets remain on the blockchain and are under the users' own control, isolated from the hosting infrastructure of the Bitget exchange. In response to the recent security incident involving Bitget, Bitget Wallet has conducted preventive checks on its internal systems and found no impact on the Bitget Wallet system or users' self-hosted assets. Currently, Bitget Wallet is running normally. Users are also advised to be cautious of phishing and impersonation attempts and to obtain the latest information through official channels.
