According to CoinMeta, the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) has signed a memorandum of understanding with blockchain.com. The plan is to allow blockchain.com users to access the NYSE's digital trading platform after regulatory approval, to trade tokenized U.S. stocks and ETF, and to establish market data relationships. The NYSE's digital platform is intended to provide 24-hour trading, on-chain instant settlement, and stablecoin funding for tokenized U.S. stocks and ETF. Citibank Research estimates that in a baseline scenario, the scale of tokenized financial assets could reach $5.5 trillion by 2030, and in an optimistic scenario, it could reach $8.2 trillion.
