Bank of America raises its forecast for 10-year U.S. Treasury yield to 5%

According to CoinMeta, Bank of America has raised its forecast for the yield on 10-year U.S. Treasury bonds at the end of the year to 5%, as well as its forecast for the yield on 2-year U.S. Treasury bonds to 5%. In addition, the average price of Brent crude oil for the second half of this year has been raised from $83 per barrel to $95 per barrel. A high-interest-rate environment will lower the discounted value of future cash flows and increase the attractiveness of U.S. dollar assets relative to highly volatile assets such as cryptocurrencies.
