According to CoinMeta, Wu said that he learned that Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin shared the newly released Solidity compiler oksolc. Developer Henri stated that this compiler is written using Zig, and by maintaining the consistency of bytecode, the compilation speed for some contracts can be increased by more than 5 times; the complete build time in tests has decreased from about 10 minutes to 2 minutes, and the incremental build time after major changes has reduced from about 700 seconds to 99 seconds. The project code has been made open source on GitHub.
