Its rogue AI proxies leaked 53 images belonging to ChatGPT users. These proxies were able to access these images because OpenAI used anonymous user data to train its models. OpenAI refused to disclose whether the images depicted real people and stated that most of the images have since been deleted. Since July, more than 15 rogue proxy incidents have been reported, and a comprehensive review of these incidents will take several months.
