SUI ecosystem DeFi protocol Alphafi announces a gradual cessation of operations. It has now entered maintenance mode, with no new deposits or loans allowed. Withdrawals will continue to be available. Previously, on Alphalend, some lending positions that used alpha as collateral experienced severe insufficient collateral, leading to bad debts under the protocol. We are cooperating with the SUI foundation to conduct investigations, take remedial actions, and pursue debt recovery. Users are also being reminded to close their positions and withdraw their assets. The lock-up periods for wal and alpha vaults have been canceled. Slush Strategies users can directly withdraw funds through their Slush wallets. We will continue to handle exit procedures until the last user completes their withdrawal, after which the SUI ecosystem will cease to operate.
