According to CoinMeta, bullish, Equiniti, Alpaca, Apex Fintech Solutions, and DriveWealth established issuer sponsored token coalition on September 24th, with the aim of directly linking on-chain tokens to the official shareholder registers of listed companies. The alliance plans to grant token holders rights to vote, receive dividends, participate in stock splits, and other corporate actions, and will also study technical standards, settlement processes, custody, as well as the interoperability between traditional market infrastructure and blockchain. Members are scheduled to meet with listed companies and issuers at the New York Stock Exchange on October 27th.
