According to CoinMeta, Macquarie Group's foreign exchange and interest rate strategist Thierry Wizman stated in a report that traders should be prepared for a round of interest rate hikes in December. He said, "We believe that the probability of the Bank of Japan raising interest rates is the highest, at around 80%, whereas the likelihood of the European Central Bank (ECB) doing so is lower due to the potential for further instability in France." He also mentioned that growth driven by capital expenditure will continue to be evident in the fourth quarter, with Japan showing a stronger momentum in this regard. Wizman believes that the probability of the ECB raising interest rates in December is about 66%, as the bank may need to ensure that France can continue to finance itself through capital markets. As for the Federal Reserve (Fed), he expects a 50% chance of a rate hike in December.
