Anthropic cracks down on Claude transit stations, prohibiting reselling of subscription quotas and impersonating clients among other behaviors
2026-11-02 17:11:39
According to CoinMeta, Anthropic has recently updated its usage policy for Claude, with the new regulations taking effect on November 12, 2026. The new rules explicitly prohibit unauthorized reselling, agency, or providing access to Claude to third parties in any other manner. Two specific behaviors are highlighted: one is packaging the usage quotas subscribed by consumers of Claude Pro, Max, etc., as third-party API services and charging fees for them, and the other is disguising the actual products or clients used to bypass access restrictions. Businesses that rely on consumer subscription quotas will face more stringent policy restrictions.
