Mercado Bitcoin stated that customers have not suffered any losses, nor has there been any data leakage. Previously, there were reports that the incident could result in losses of about $40 million, but the exchange has not yet confirmed the exact amount. Mercado Bitcoin is one of Brazil's largest domestic cryptocurrency exchanges and officially claims to have approximately 4.2 million customers.
