Binance Hacker Incident Recovery: CZ Claims 95% of Losses Have Been Covered
2026-11-03 02:23:14
According to CoinMeta, Binance CEO CZ stated that the exchange has covered 95% of the $3.3 billion in hacker losses, with the remaining 5% involving tokens with lower liquidity, making the conversion process slower. CZ revealed that Binance used its own assets to cover the losses without borrowing, selling assets, or raising funds. Although 100% of the required funds have been allocated, it will still take time to convert the remaining assets into smaller tokens. CZ emphasized that fund allocation is not the same as asset conversion, and the recovery process is still ongoing.
