According to CoinMeta, Salesforce has announced the acquisition of AI, a voice agent startup known as Cresta. Crest's voice agents are capable of handling customer service calls throughout the entire process and providing real-time guidance to human customer service representatives. Crest's clients include Marriott, Comcast, and Alaska Airlines. Crest recently completed a $125 million Series D financing round in November 2024, led by World Innovation Lab and the Qatar Investment Authority. This transaction was finalized two weeks after Salesforce agreed to acquire Braze for approximately $5.66 billion; the specific terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first quarter of Salesforce's fiscal year 2028.
