According to CoinMeta, bondbloxx, a senior investment strategist at a fund management company, stated in a report that if labor market data continues to weaken, there are signs of slowing consumer demand, or the financial environment continues to tighten, it could reduce the likelihood of the Federal Reserve raising interest rates in December. She pointed out, "If economic growth as a whole shows a slowdown and inflationary pressures also ease, the Federal Reserve may be more confident in keeping interest rates unchanged." Bianco added that when newly released data challenges the market narrative about economic resilience, expectations for interest rate hikes could change rapidly. LSEG data shows that current money market pricing indicates a 74% probability of the Federal Reserve raising interest rates by 25 basis points in December.
