According to CoinMeta, Binance founder CZ stated in an interview with Talking Tokens that North Korean hacking activities pose a threat not only to crypto platforms but also to the traditional financial system. With the development of tokenized stocks, RWA, and stablecoins, the connection between the crypto market and the global financial system is becoming increasingly close. Large-scale hacker attacks are no longer just a matter of corporate security but also involve national security. CZ mentioned that he has not yet communicated about Binance's $6.3 billion hacker attack incident with U.S. President Trump or Washington officials, but he hopes to obtain assistance from the U.S. government and believes that the United States and China may be among the few countries capable of communicating with North Korea. In addition, CZ revealed that discussions have begun within the industry to establish security alliances for sharing security experiences, conducting cross-audits, and coordinating the rapid freezing of stolen funds.
