According to CoinMeta, the on-site voting for the U.S. midterms has basically concluded. At 1 a.m. Eastern Time on November 4th, as the polling stations in the Aleutian Islands region of Alaska reached their legal closing time, each state will continue to tally and announce the results of the voting. As of now, data from the Decision Desk headquarters website of a U.S. election data analysis firm indicates that it is expected that the Democratic Party will win 52 out of the 100 seats in the U.S. Senate, thereby regaining control of the Senate. Earlier on, the firm had predicted that the Democratic Party would also take control of the House of Representatives. This means that after these midterms, the Democratic Party will once again hold control of Congress.
