According to CoinMeta, India has requested coal mining companies and railway departments to assist in increasing power plant coal inventory to three times the current level by next summer in order to prevent a coal shortage. Sources familiar with the matter revealed that India's coal, power, and railway departments have jointly set a goal to increase coal inventory at power plants from the current approximately 18 million tons to at least 55 million tons by the end of the fiscal year in March of next year. This goal means that coal reserves will roughly reach the level of the same period this year by then.
