According to CoinMeta, the National Cybersecurity Centre, which is under the UK Government Communications Headquarters, released its annual cybersecurity report on the 3rd, stating that China is a major country in artificial intelligence technology. By 2028, it is "highly likely" that China will frequently use AI to carry out hacking activities, posing the "most complex and persistent" cyber threat to the UK. In response, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning expressed serious concern over the UK's use of speculative language to smear China without evidence. She pointed out that the cybersecurity risks posed by artificial intelligence are a common challenge faced by all countries, and that new international rules should be established through the United Nations to address this issue collectively. Mao Ning emphasized that China has always advocated that the development of artificial intelligence should be oriented towards goodness and openness, balancing security with development to ensure safety, reliability, and controllability.
