At the main forum of the summit, the "Joint Initiative to Build a Global Open Artificial Intelligence Action" was officially released. The initiative points out that computing power, data, and talent are becoming increasingly important in the transformation of artificial intelligence, yet they are highly concentrated. Only a few countries and enterprises have the conditions to develop and apply large-scale models, which may lead to a new digital divide. Therefore, the initiative calls on all countries to jointly build and share computing power pools and high-quality datasets, and to establish open-source seed funds to support countries in the global South in conducting localized development on an open platform.
