According to CoinMeta, and as reported by the Korean Daily Economic News, as the stock market enters an adjustment phase, a large amount of capital is flowing towards savings-oriented insurance products that offer stable returns. In October, the total sales of bancassurance products from South Korea's five major commercial banks exceeded 3 trillion Korean won. Previously, due to the booming stock market, funds from bank branches were directed towards investment products, and this figure had dropped below 1 trillion Korean won in May. In contrast, demand for exchange-traded funds (ETFs) purchased through bank channels has significantly diminished. The sales of ETF trust products from South Korea's four major banks plummeted to 2.9844 trillion Korean won in the third quarter, representing a decline of over 90%.
