According to CoinMeta, LG New Energy signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Nanjing Urban Construction Group and Jiangsu Linyang Energy during the 9th China International Import Expo. The Import Expo was held at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center from November 5th to 10th, and LG New Energy made its debut at this event. The cooperation with Nanjing Urban Construction Group will focus on areas such as grid-side independent energy storage stations, bus battery swapping, and recycling. A 100MW/400MWh grid-side independent energy storage station project located in Nanjing's Jiangning Binjiang Development Zone will use LG's square lithium iron phosphate battery cells, which represents the first application of this product in China. The energy storage cooperation with Jiangsu Linyang Energy will start with the grid-side independent energy storage project in Nanjing and will gradually expand to similar projects in other regions such as Xuzhou, and eventually to the global market.
