According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Bloomberg, Microsoft ($MSFT) has abandoned plans for additional data center capacity cooperation with the Texas-based cloud startup nscale. Microsoft originally had the opportunity to add several hundred megawatts of capacity at a location in Ward County, nscale, but decided not to proceed further as the project was still awaiting approval for power connections. In addition, last month, Microsoft also withdrew from a data center deal with nscale in the UK.
