Bitcoin Falls Below $76,000; Tech Stock Sell-Off Causes Turmoil in Crypto Market
2026-11-06 00:43:36
According to CoinMeta, as reported by DeItaone, the price of Bitcoin fell below $76,000, hitting a seven-week low with a decline of up to 5.8%. This fluctuation stemmed from the selling pressure on Wall Street tech stocks spreading to the cryptocurrency market, with the Nasdaq 100 index falling by 6.4%. Additionally, the Democratic Party's victory in the midterms exacerbated concerns about stricter AI regulations, further increasing risk aversion. The crypto market was also under pressure from a Binance hacking incident, with investors withdrawing approximately $1 billion from spot Bitcoin ETF, of which Blackstone's IBIT accounted for around $900 million.
