According to CoinMeta, the State Administration for Market Regulation has launched the fourth batch of national pilot programs for the protection of trade secrets. Since the initiation of these pilot programs in 2022, a total of 61 pilot regions have been identified across the country, promoting the deepening of trade secret protection from "promoting social awareness" to "effectively serving development," and from "unilateral innovation" to "systematic governance." Each pilot region has carried out reforms based on local realities, resulting in over 450 institutional achievements that cover key areas such as the internet, integrated circuits, biomedicine, and artificial intelligence. The system for protecting trade secrets has gradually become more robust. In response to key issues related to trade secret infringement, market regulation authorities nationwide have continuously intensified administrative law enforcement. In the first three quarters of 2026, a total of 108 cases of trade secret infringement were investigated and handled, indicating a continuous improvement in law enforcement effectiveness.
