Institution: The decline in French government bond prices presents short-term buying opportunities, but long-term risks still exist

According to CoinMeta, John Sidawi, portfolio manager at institutions federated and hermes, stated in a report that recently there has been a sell-off of French government bonds, with prices clearly falling, and the overcrowded positions in the market have also been somewhat cleared, creating some opportunities for short-term entry. Sidawi pointed out: "This may present some selective tactical investment opportunities, but just because the prices are cheaper does not mean the assets are attractive." He remains cautious about the structural prospects of the French market, believing that the country's underlying problems have not yet been resolved. In contrast, other regions in Europe are better protected. Sidawi also mentioned: "Although valuations have improved, the core challenges France faces have not changed, including a large fiscal deficit, an increasing debt burden, ongoing political resistance to reforms, and the risk that rising borrowing costs may further weaken public finances."
