According to CoinMeta, SoftBank's stock price fell another 10.8% on Friday, representing a cumulative decline of 59% since early June. The company has increased its debt by $40.4 billion over the past 12 months to fund AI investments, including $64 billion invested in OpenAI. Meanwhile, the stock price of Arm has fallen by 51% since June 30th, weakening SoftBank's asset support, leading to an increase in credit default swaps and a decline in bond prices. SoftBank reported a leverage ratio of 13%, which is below its own set limit of 25%, indicating that there is still considerable buffer space available.
