According to CoinMeta, the Polish Central Bank has sent hawkish signals, indicating that a rate hike may occur in December, which would be the first such hike since 2022. Two members of the monetary policy committee, henryk and wnorowski, as well as marcin and zarzecki, have stated that a rate hike is expected in the coming months, with no exclusion of action being taken in December. The Governor of the Polish Central Bank, adam and glapinski, hinted this week that the benchmark interest rate could be raised to 3.75% by the beginning of 2027. As the Middle East conflict drives up energy prices, European countries are striving to cope with the resulting inflationary pressures.
