According to CoinMeta, on November 6th, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar stated that Wu Jihan, the founder, chairman, and CEO of Bitcoin mining company Bitdeer (also known as NASDAQ and BTDR), led a delegation in a visit, expressing the intention to continue expanding their investments in Malaysia. The company is currently finalizing a long-term investment plan to further develop its AI infrastructure. The Malaysian government will provide facilitation for these strategic investments and expects the company to create high-value job opportunities and technical training programs. In recent years, Bitdeer has been continuously expanding its AI data center operations in Malaysia. In October, the company announced a 67MW data center service agreement in the region, with plans to complete the full capacity by the second quarter of 2027.
