According to CoinMeta, Han Zheng met with Georgian President Giorgi Kvirashvili, stating that Georgia is China's first strategic partner in the South Caucasus region and also the first country in Eurasia to establish a free trade arrangement with China. Over the past 34 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, they have always adhered to the principles of mutual respect, mutual trust, and win-win cooperation, promoting the healthy and stable development of bilateral relations. China is willing to strengthen communication and coordination with Georgia to jointly implement the important consensus reached by their leaders and advance Sino-Georgian relations. Kvirashvili mentioned that both Georgia and China are ancient civilizations with a long history, and that the ties of cooperation between them are growing stronger, with increasing frequency of personnel exchanges. Georgia takes great pride in Sino-Georgian cooperation. Georgia was one of the first countries to join the Belt and Road Initiative and is willing to continue to strengthen cooperation with China in areas such as connectivity, infrastructure construction, economy and trade, tourism, sports, and education, in order to bring greater benefits to both countries and their peoples and to promote the continuous development of their comprehensive strategic partnership.
