2026-11-07 15:08:40
According to CoinMeta, a wallet with the identifier Keplr reported that unauthorized transactions have occurred on some Keplr accounts created through login methods using Google or Apple. Keplr has temporarily suspended these two login methods and is working jointly with the Web3Auth team to investigate the issue. Preliminary assessments indicate that accounts created using mnemonic phrases or hardware wallets have not been affected. During the investigation, Keplr is reminding affected users not to transfer funds to these potentially compromised accounts, not to re-import or create such accounts elsewhere, and to ignore any private messages or links claiming to be able to assist in restoring the accounts. The announcement did not disclose the number of affected accounts or the amount of loss incurred.
