According to CoinMeta, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, stablecoin issuer Tether will participate in Juventus' new round of capital increase plan. Tether currently holds approximately 11.5% of Juventus' shares and voted in favor of a capital increase plan of up to 250 million euros (about 279 million US dollars) at the shareholders' meeting on November 3, and is expected to contribute about 28.8 million euros (about 32.16 million US dollars) based on its shareholding ratio. However, Tether abstained from voting on the club's annual financial report and other resolutions at the general shareholders' meeting. Juventus incurred a consolidated net loss of about 66 million euros (about 73.69 million US dollars) for the 2025/26 fiscal year. Previously, Tether offered to acquire all of Juventus' shares in December 2025, but was rejected by the controlling shareholder Exor.
