IT News on October 7th: Technology media AppleInsider reported yesterday (October 6th) that Apple has confirmed it will release its financial report for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2026 (from June 28 to September 26, 2026), which corresponds to the period from September 28, 2025, to September 26, 2026, on November 2nd, Eastern Time.
Apple also plans to hold a regular conference call at 5 p.m. Eastern Time on November 2 (Note from IT: 6 a.m. Beijing Time on November 3).
At this teleconference, Apple's current CEO, John Ternus ( John Ternus ), will be hosting the event, and Chief Financial Officer Kevin Parker ( Kevan Parekh ) will also be present. This is Ternus' first participation in a financial report release in his capacity as CEO since taking over the position from Tim Cook ( Tim Cook ). This appearance marks the official beginning of the Ternus era at Apple.
When releasing its financial report for the third quarter of 2026, Apple provided revenue forecasts for the fourth quarter. At that time, analysts predicted that revenue in the fourth quarter would grow by 12.1%, while Apple's official forecast was for a year-over-year increase of 9% to 11%.

At the product level, iPhone expects its revenue to grow by about 15%, with the growth rate of its service business being similar to that of the third quarter. The fourth quarter is usually a crucial period for the release of Apple products, but the new products launched at the beginning of September will only contribute to sales for a few weeks; their full impact will not be reflected until the first fiscal quarter.
