Reston, Virginia, October 28 (Reuters) – The U.S. Cyber Command has chosen Leidos (New York Stock Exchange ticker: LDOS) to further develop a pioneering integrated digital platform aimed at helping cyber operators plan, coordinate, and assess tasks in a single, unified environment.
The company obtained another transaction authorization worth $99 million ( Other Transaction Authority, OTA ) in the form of prototype agreements, which will be used to continue developing this next-generation network planning system.
Leidos President of Intelligence Business Jason O ' Connor stated: "We have equipped American cyber operators with a platform that, in some cases, has significantly reduced the task planning cycle to within 24 hours."
"This technology, developed by our Kudu Dynamics team, provides task planning, execution, and evaluation capabilities for network tasks in terms of speed and scale."
The platform is designed to integrate traditionally separate work processes and tools into a single integrated system. It also adopts a modular architecture, aiming to support integration with government and third-party technologies as task requirements change, thereby providing flexibility in the development and maintenance of the platform.
Leidos acquired Kudu Dynamics in 2025 to expand its network technology, engineering, and mission support capabilities. This acquisition advances Leidos's NorthStar 2030 strategy, in which the network business is a key growth driver and also an important component of the U.S. military's competition and modern warfare in multiple fields.
